CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Dozens of well-wishers gathered together Friday as part of a parade for residents of Brookdale Senior Living on Memorial Dr. in Clarksville. The parade was led by Clarksville Fire Rescue with participation by the Clarksville Police Department and many other community partners.
Close to 30 seniors had a ringside seat to the parade in Brookdale’s parking lot which featured lights, sirens, balloons, along with signs of encouragement and support for the residents.
Brookdale Sales Manager Marie Eppes talked about the celebration. “We invited all of our community partners to come out and cheer up our residents. We’re exclusively memory care here, we’re senior care, and everybody in town knows how important it is to protect our seniors. This was a great way to let them know that they are absolutely loved , but keep them safe too,” said Eppes.
