WASHINGTON – (CLARKSVILLENOW) More than 200 home fires each year start with a Christmas tree.
According to the National Fire Protection Association the difference between a property loss and death or injury could be whether or not the tree has been watered.
This video, by fire researchers with the National Institute of Standards and Technology, demonstrates the difference between a watered Christmas tree vs. a dry Christmas tree.
