Clarksville, Tenn (ClarksvilleNow.com) – Summer is here, which means the fair is coming to town. Both the Montgomery County and Western Kentucky State Fairs begin this week and offer activities for the whole family.

Montgomery County Fair

The Montgomery County Fair comes to Clarksville Speedway June 18-22. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children, and free for children under 2. Midway rides and amusement park style games will fill the Speedway. Unlimited ride armbands range between $20 and $25 dollars depending on the day.

The fair will include classic rides and carnival food, Molly Ark Petting Zoo and Swifty Swine Racing Pigs. There will be a Monster Truck Arena Event (separate pricing from the fair) and Friday and Saturday night will feature an International Pro Rodeo. Western Kentucky State Fair

The Western Kentucky State Fair kicks off June 21. The fair will be held at the Bruce Convention Center in Hopkinsville, Ky. Armbands range from $15-$20 and give access to many events and attractions. Highlights include demo derby, a ranch rodeo, a UCW Wrestling event, and several tractor pulls. Featured musicians include Jacob Johnson and Barn Bash, featuring Blane Howard & Queeva. The Miss Western Kentucky State Fair Pageant begins on June 22 at 7:30 p.m..
