CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Fans wanting to catch Clarksville High’s games in the state baseball tournament can tune in to ESPN Clarksville this week, for play-by-play with local sports broadcasting legend Van Stokes.

The games will be on 104.1 FM/540 AM and streamed online on ESPN Clarksville, starting with Tuesday’s match with Hardin County.

Clarksville High (32-5) is in Spring Fling for the first time since 2010.

The Wildcats’ path to the tournament began with beating rival Rossview High 6-5 in the District 10-AAA baseball championship.

They then defeated Mt. Juliet in the Region 5-AAA semifinals 3-1 on May 17.

Clarksville lost to Beech 9-8 on May 18 in the region championship, but went on to the sectionals substate, where they beat Independence 7-5 on May 21.

That sent CHS to Spring Fling, where they will play Hardin County at Oakland High School on Tuesday, May 25, at 6:30 p.m.
