Clarksville, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville-Montgomery County, Tennessee Economic Development Council (EDC) Executive Committee announced Wednesday, Jan. 15 they received a formal statement of resignation from Jeff Truitt, current, EDC Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Truitt joined the EDC in February 2019 assuming the role of coordinating, promoting and ensuring economic development in Clarksville-Montgomery County. He served as Director of the Aspire Clarksville Foundation, a privately funded, non-profit organization that helps fund the initiatives of the EDC and its member entities.
During his time as EDC CEO and Aspire Clarksville Foundation Director, Truitt played a key role in the Aspire VI Campaign, raising a total of $4.2 million dollars for 2020-2024 initiatives.
He has also been integral in the recruitment of numerous industries to Clarksville-Montgomery County, including VK Integrated Systems, which was announced in August 2019.
