Update, 3:43 p.m.: The process of replacing the utility poles is still ongoing. Motorists can expect the roadway to be affected until around 8:00 p.m. this evening.

CPD recommends the public take an alternate route until the roadway can be opened back up. Crews are working as fast as possible to restore services. It is unknown at this time if there will be any further delays after today.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department will be assisting the Clarksville Department of Electricity as CDE replaces the utility poles along Warfield Boulevard that were damaged in Friday’s storm.

According to a news release from CPD, Warfield Blvd between Stonemeadow Road and River Run will be reduced to one lane of travel for approximately six hours, starting at around 10:30 a.m.

CPD recommends the public take an alternate route during this timeframe. Crews are working as fast as possible to restore services, CPD said.
