UPDATE: Traffic congestion begins to clear after wreck on Interstate 24 eastbound

Update, 4:15 p.m.: Traffic congestion is beginning to clear up, but it still appears there is a slowdown in the eastbound lanes around Exit 11.

Previously:

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A wreck with injuries on Interstate 24 has backed up eastbound traffic on Monday afternoon.

At 3:30 p.m., the wreck near mile marker 9 had eastbound traffic backed past Exit 4.

According to the Montgomery County Information App, the wreck was reported at 2:26 p.m.
