UPDATE: Traffic back to normal after overturned vehicle wreck on Interstate 24

Update, 8:30 a.m.: Traffic has returned to normal.

Update, 8 a.m.: Traffic has cleared past Exit 11, but is still backed up around Exit 8.

Previously:

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A crash at mile marker 18 has Interstate 24 eastbound traffic backed up into Clarksville.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation reported that all eastbound lanes of I-24 were closed due to an overturned vehicle at mile marker 18.

At 7:40 a.m., traffic was at a standstill from the wreck scene past Exits 11 and 8.
