Update, 5:40 p.m.: Traffic is clearing through the area, with lingering backups near Exit 1.

Update, 5:10 p.m.: Traffic is now backed up past Exit 1.

Previously:

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A wreck on Interstate 24 has eastbound traffic backed up in Clarksville.

At 4:45 p.m., the wreck near mile marker 5 had traffic backed up past Exit 4 almost to Exit 1.
