Update, 2:55 p.m.: The roadway is back open.

Update, 1 p.m.: The motorcyclist has been flown to Nashville by LifeFlight helicopter, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien. Fatal Accident Crash Team investigators are on the scene.

Only one northbound and one southbound lane of Fort Campbell Boulevard remain open. Motorists are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid delays, Beaubien said.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A motorcyclist was injured in a crash with an SUV Saturday afternoon on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

At about 12:20 p.m., the vehicles crashed just north of 101st Airborne Division Parkway. Several witnesses helped the motorcyclist, who had a fractured leg and wrist. He was conscious after the wreck.

Montgomery County EMS, Clarksville Fire Rescue and Clarksville Police responded to the scene.

Fort Campbell southbound was reduced to one lane.
