Update, 4 p.m.: Traffic is clearing on the Tennessee side of the state line. The backup that extended to Pembroke Road is easing.
Update, 3:30 p.m.: The backup is now 2 miles into Kentucky and growing.
Update, 3:20 p.m.: The backup has now grown to over a mile into Kentucky, to Carter Road.
Update, 3 p.m.: The backup is getting worse, now extending into Kentucky.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A wreck has Interstate 24 backed up in Clarksville.
At 2:45 p.m., the eastbound lanes were backed up from about mile marker 2, past Exit 1, to just south of the state line.
