Update, 1:45 p.m.: The officer and a passenger in another vehicle had minor injuries, Beaubien said.

Update, 1:15 p.m.: The crash involved a Clarksville Police officer who was responding to an emergency call, CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien confirmed to Clarksville Now. The officer was not involved in a pursuit.

The wreck is under investigation, and no further information has been released.

Update, 1 p.m.: The intersection is back open.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Multiple people were injured in a wreck this morning at 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Peachers Mill Road.

The wreck happened just before 10 a.m. Multiple people were injured, but their injuries are not life-threatening, police said.

At 10:45 a.m.. traffic was tied up around the intersection. The 101st eastbound was one lane only, and Peachers Mill southbound has been shut down.

The Clarksville Police Department is asking the public to avoid the area until the roadway can be cleared.
