Tommy Joe Hodges, age 67, of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Alive Hospice – Madison.

Tommy was born November 24, 1951, to the late Douglas Hodges and Mary Alice Ramey Hodges. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Karnes Hodges; two brothers, Bracky Hodges and Douglas Hodges, Jr.; nephew, Joel Saunders; niece, Mindy Hodges Henderson; and three brothers-in-law, Clayton Jackson, James Moore, and Larry Biter.

Tommy retired from the Clarksville Country Club after 40 years and was a member of Church of God PKG.

A celebration of life service will be Wednesday, February 13, at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Kathi Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Baggett Chapel Cemetery, in Cunningham. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 12, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, and Wednesday, February 13, from 11:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.

Mr. Hodges is survived by his special caregiver and nephew, Brent Saunders; five sisters, Juanita Jackson, Mary Margaret (Billy) Ham, Elizabeth Moore, Brenda Biter, and Alice (Jeffrey) Moul; numerous nieces and nephews; and his little dog, CoCo.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Ham, Chris Jackson, Brandon Trainer, Jeremie Wickham, Clyde Karnes, Mike Karnes, Dustin Marino, and Richie Billups.
