CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – After seeing their season come to an end at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Tennessee Titans now turn their attention to an offseason in which they have a lot of decisions to make.

Some of the more notable questions marks surrounding the team include the expiring contracts of the NFL’s leading rusher Derrick Henry, Pro Bowl quarterback Ryan Tannehill and former Super Bowl champion Logan Ryan.

Ryan saw a fair amount of playing time as the team’s number one cornerback after Malcolm Butler was lost for the season and Adoree’ Jackson missed some time due to injury.

After failing to make a single interception in his first two seasons with the Titans, Ryan recorded four picks, had 18 passes defensed and four and a half sacks in year number three.

Veteran linebacker Wesley Woodyard is also currently a free agent. By adding depth at the position in recent years via the draft, Titans general manager Jon Robinson could potentially choose against bringing him back.

The writing appears to be on the wall for former franchise quarterback Marcus Mariota in two-tone blue. With many others still needing deals to stay with the team and Tannehill’s ascension under center, Mariota will likely be left out of the equation.

Offensive lineman Jack Conklin will also be presumably looking to cash in, coming off arguably the best season of his young career.

The Titans drafted Conklin with the 8th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, but have since chosen not to pick up his fifth-year option.

It’s no secret that the first priority for Robinson is likely figuring out a number that will make both Henry and the organization happy from a contractual standpoint.

The Titans surpassed the expectations of many in 2019. If Tennessee hopes to make a similar postseason run again next year, Robinson and company will have to work their magic in order to keep as many pieces of the puzzle as they can intact.
