CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Three men were charged in two separate incidents of vehicle burglary over the weekend, according to Clarksville police.
The first burglary occurred Feb 9 around 11 p.m. Police were called to a business on Hornberger Lane about a man who was spotted inside a fenced area rifling through vehicles. When officers arrived, they saw the suspect inside a vehicle with a pair of pliers in his possession. The man, later identified as 64-year-old Douglas Perryman, did not have permission to be on the property or inside the vehicles.
Perryman was charged with vehicle burglary, criminal trespass, and possession of burglary tools. His bond was set at $1,500. Police said he has a previous criminal history involving burglary, theft, traffic violations, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

The second burglary took place Feb 10 around 8:30 p.m. at the 800 block of Peachers Mill Rd. A car owner went outside to check his Ford Mustang after he heard an alarm. He found 14 lug nuts missing from the wheels, but saw no one around the vehicle.
Fortunately, a neighbor saw a white Dodge Avenger parked next to the Mustang leave after the alarm was activated. Officers also spotted a Green Nissan Pathfinder leaving the complex as they arrived. They tracked down the Dodge Avenger to a Northway Drive address and while on scene, the Nissan Pathfinder arrived.
Investigators determined that 18-year-old Terelle Douglas and 21-year-old Stephon Tucker were responsible for the burglary.
Douglas was charged with vehicle burglary and his bond was set at $10,000.
Tucker was charged with vehicle burglary and has an out of county warrant from Gallatin, TN for violation of probation with an original charge of burglary. His bond was set at $50,000.
