CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Things are slowing down as the start of school nears, but there’s still plenty going on, including a Back to School Splash and the first show for our new Clarksville Community Theatre.
- Where: Civitan Park, 350 Bellamy Lane
- When: Saturday, Aug. 1, noon-3 p.m.
- Cost: Free
- Details: Montgomery County Parks and Recreation presents giant water inflatables, a toddler splash zone and a foam party. A Reverse Water Parade from 1-2 p.m. will allow families to walk past emergency and public service vehicles that spray water along the route, followed by a Balloon Battle at 2 p.m. for ages 8 and older. Food trucks on-site.

- When: July 31-Aug. 2: Friday and Saturday 7 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m.
- Cost: Tickets $15-$20 online
- Details: Clarksville Community Theatre will present its inaugural production, Museum, by Tina Howe. Set inside a bustling art museum over the course of a single day, the comedy follows a colorful collection of visitors.

- When: Saturdays, May 9-Oct. 3, from 8 a.m. to noon
- Cost: Free
- Details: Locally grown produce, food items and handmade crafts from local farmers and artisans.
