CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – In a statement issued March 27, The Youth Academy in Clarksville has announced they will be temporarily closing their doors due to coronavirus concerns.

“Due to the progressing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, it is with heavy hearts that we have come to the decision to temporarily close our facility,” the childcare facility announced.

Their closure is only temporary, with plans to re-open the doors on April 12. The action will allow the facility to go through sanitization efforts.

The facility, located directly across from Tennova hospital and an emergency management office, on Professional Park Drive, cared for many children of healthcare and essential personnel.

“We will continue to pray for our first responders and our Youth Academy families during this time. We will continue to share more information as we have an update.”
