SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Sergeant Patrick Traughber of the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office has been named Facility Training Officer of the Year for 2019 by the Tennessee Corrections Institute (TCI) annual conference.

TCI is responsible for inspecting and certifying Tennessee correctional facilities. Their annual conference in Gatlinburg, TN brings together correctional professionals throughout the state of Tennessee and recognizes exceptional officers for their efforts. Each year, the TCI recognizes a Facility Training Officer based on their outstanding work, performance, and dedication.

Sergeant Patrick Traughber has served with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office for seven years. As the Training Coordinator, Traughber is responsible for all new corrections officers’ training as well as keeping current officers in compliance with TCI standards.

The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office has received the FTO of the Year award three times in the past seven years.
