SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Robertson County man was arrested in connection with robberies at the Advanced Auto Parts and Dollar General Store in Springfield, Tenn.

A search warrant led Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and Springfield Police Department to John Kyler Ray Osborne, 23, of Springfield.

During the search of a home on Mariview Drive, police found the vehicle that was used in the Advanced Auto Parts Robbery on Memorial Blvd in Springfield on January 16. They also found other evidence at the scene from a robbery at a Dollar General Store on Tom Austin Highway in Springfield on January 20.

Osborne has been charged with Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault x2 by the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office for the robbery at the Dollar General Store. He has also been charged with Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault by the Springfield Police Department for the robbery at Advanced Auto Parts.

“Investigators with the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office and the Springfield Police Department did a great job in taking a violent criminal off the streets. This is another great example of law enforcement agencies working together to keep our City and County residents safe,” stated Sheriff Michael Van Dyke.
