CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Family and friends came together Saturday at the Pinnacle Family Entertainment Center or a special party for Colton Richards who not only was celebrating his sixteenth birthday but the event was also a fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Richards is a special needs young man with Cerebral Palsy and Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) (Autism Spectrum) and he is reaching out to the community to raise $10,000 for St. Jude to help children with childhood cancer.

Richards also talked about his Colton’s Corner Foundation to help children and teens which he said was recently started by his mother, Karen. “Kids with special needs need to have access to handicapped playgrounds here, across America and across the globe,” said Richards.
