CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The National Weather Service has released information about the weather for the day of the solar eclipse (Aug. 21) in Middle Tennessee.
Partly cloudy skies are expected throughout the area with a slight chance of light to moderate showers and thunderstorms.

Highs will be in the mid 80s to lower 90s.
For Clarksville specifically, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, but the day will be mostly sunny with a high around 90.
Note: Even if it is cloudy, you will still need to wear your NASA certified eclipse glasses in order to view the eclipse.
Don’t let the forecast get you down, however. The solar eclipse will still have a significant impact, and weather patterns are always subject to change.
