CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The National Weather Service (NWS) in Nashville has placed the Clarksville-Montgomery county area under a winter weather advisory until 6 a.m. Monday.
Rain and sleet in the afternoon hours will turn to snow late in the evening. Ice accumulations of up to one-tenth of an inch are possible, and drivers should exercise extreme caution as the roads may be hazardous.
Forecasters say anywhere from one to three inches of snow accumulation is expected.
A similar wintry mix is also expected Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools will be closed Monday, Feb. 3 due to the forecast.
