CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Better Business Bureau (BBB) will host Secure Your ID Day Saturday, Oct. 19 at The Pinnacle Bowling Alley at 430 Warfield Blvd. to educate the public about identity theft and fraud protection.
The Cintas Document Management shred truck will be parked in front of the building from 9 a.m. to noon, or until the truck is full. Both businesses and individuals are welcome to participate and are encouraged to bring outdated, high risk documents including cancelled checks, old credit card statements, free credit card offers and tax records. This shredding event is free and documents will be shredded on the spot.
Saturday, Oct. 19 is also free community shred day at Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union. This community event will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union branches located at 2050 Lowe’s Drive in Clarksville and 130 Griffin Bell Drive in Hopkinsville.
The Credit Union is helping people in the community reduce the risk of identity theft and fraud while helping the environment. Cintas trucks will be on hand to securely shred paper documents.
