CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Montgomery County Highway Department is making progress on the Rollow Lane and Dunlop Lane roundabout.

“Our crews have been working diligently to keep the project moving forward, and the results are beginning to show,” the department announced this week. If weather cooperates and no issues arise, the roundabout could open by late August.

The Highway Department has planned for a few years to create the roundabout, Highway Supervisor Jeff Bryant previously told Clarksville Now there had been several delays over utility lines. With those resolved, and the intersection temporarily closed to address flooding issues, the department bundled the projects to get both done more efficiently.

“Thank you for your patience and support throughout this process. This new roundabout will enhance traffic flow and safety at a key intersection in our community, and we’re looking forward to bringing it online soon!” the announcement said.
