CLARKSVILLE, TN – Renzo Gracie Clarksville is proud to announce that one of its dedicated students, Miyon Alkubechy, will be competing at the USA Judo Junior Olympics.

Miyon began his journey in martial arts at the young age of 7. Over the past five years, he has immersed himself in the disciplines of judo, wrestling, and jiu-jitsu, earning remarkable accolades along the way. Now 12 years old, Miyon holds a green belt in judo and a gray belt in jiu-jitsu.

Miyon has been training at Renzo Gracie Clarksville for the past two years. His hard work and commitment have resulted in achievements including:

  • 4-time Tennessee State Judo Champion
  • 2024 Tennessee AAU State Wrestling Champion
  • 2024 Middle School State Champion
  • 2024 State Wrestling Champion
  • 2024 Runner-up at Folkstyle Nationals

Miyon will compete in the USA Judo Junior Olympics. Miyon is set to participate in the USA Judo US Open at the end of July.
