Rebecca Lee Shelton, age 79, of Cumberland Furnace went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 21, 2022.

Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Yellow Creek Baptist Church, with Rev. Phillip Chambers officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Dickson County.
The family will receive friends on Friday, from 3 to 7 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 12 noon until the hour of service at Yellow Creek Baptist Church.

Rebecca entered this life on November 6, 1942, in Clarksville, TN to the late Clifford and Hazel Atkins O’Bryan. She was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist church and was a retired RN from Dr. Cha’s office.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jeff Sale; daughter, Melissa Lemons; siblings, Clifton O’Bryan, and Linda Shelton; and her best friend, Sadie Beeler.

Survivors include her loving husband, Wendell Shelton; son, Chester Sale; daughter, Rene Ward; grandchildren, Kristina (Bryan) Smith, Jenna (Hunter) Sale, Ashley Ward, Kayla Lemons, Cody Ward, and great-grandchildren, Brayden Smith, Zoie Correa, Kloyee Smith, and Brooklyn Lemons; brothers, Joe (Barbara) O’Bryan, and Timothy (Rebecca) O’Bryan; sister, Peggy (Hoss) Maggard, and brother-in-law, David Shelton.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Odom, Brandon Chambers, Brian Burkeen, Mike Ingram, Shane Moore, Larry Clinard, Eugene Vann, Larry Wayne Groves, Josh Bateman, and Ernie Griffith.
