CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Randy Huth, host of Q108’s Q It Up radio show, has partnered with the Louisiana Cajun Navy to organize a donation drive to help victims of flooding in Louisiana.
A large moving truck will be stationed at The Gilroy (140 University Ave.) through 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25. The community is welcome to drop off supplies through that time.
At 11 p.m., Huth will drive the truck straight to Jennings, Louisiana to deliver supplies to victims who are currently unable to access them.
Huth said he wanted to do something to help because of how he was affected during the Clarksville flood of May 2010.
“I lost everything I owned and a lot of people helped me out,” he said. “I just want to pay it forward.”
