CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is inviting the community to dig into discovery, creativity, and connection with its 2026 Summer Reading Program, “Unearth A Story.” This year’s program starts June 6 and runs through July 19 at both the Main Library and North Branch.
Summer Reading transforms books, programs, and activities into a shared community adventure by encouraging participants of all ages to read, learn, and explore. The program offers opportunities to log reading, attend events, participate in online activities, and earn rewards along the way.
The library will offer a wide variety of weekly programming, including storytimes, crafts, teen and tween activities, adult workshops, adaptive adult programs, and family-friendly events. These programs are designed to help everyone explore new interests, connect with others, and make each library visit part of their summer experience.
Program highlights include:
Prizes and milestone rewards for participation
- DinoDeck – An online game where you collect fossils and unlock bonus codes for ReadSquared
- DesignDeck – An online coloring experience
- Programs designed for all ages and abilities
- Events hosted at both library locations
- An interactive online experience for creativity and discovery
The library’s online platform, ReadSquared, allows participants to track reading, log activities, and earn rewards. Attendees of library programs will also receive bonus codes to accelerate their progress toward prizes. ReadSquared is accessible on any phone, tablet, or computer, and no library card is required to participate.
