CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Two pedestrian related crashes are under investigation in Clarksville. Both victims are in stable condition.

The first incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 26.

A red Dodge Dakota driven by Charles Suttle, 38, was traveling south on Fort Campbell Blvd. While in the right hand lane, Suttle struck a pedestrian. It is unclear where pedestrian, a 28-year-old male, was located during the time of the impact.

Suttle did not see the pedestrian until impact. The victim was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt for treatment of injuries where he is now listed in stable condition.

While investigating the crash, Officer Bailey detected the odor of alcohol, conducted field sobriety test, and took the driver into custody for suspected DUI.

Charles Suttle was booked for DUI with a bond of $2500.

The second pedestrian related crash occurred early Saturday morning around 2 a.m.  For reasons unknown, a 32-year-old male walked out onto Wilma Rudolph Blvd directly into the path of a 2011 Impala.  The Impala was driven by a 44-year-old male.

The pedestrian was taken to Vanderbilt. He is listed in stable condition with multiple fractures.

No charges have been filed.
