CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- Clarksville Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Thursday, May 21 on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

According to a news release from Clarksville Police, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Clarksville Police responded to a fight in progress call in the 2700 block of Wilma Rudolph Blvd.

The call quickly changed into a shots fired call.

When officers arrived they found one victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital and the seriousness of the injury is unknown at this time.

All parties involved in this incident have been identified. Clarksville Police are no longer looking for additional individuals.

The investigation is ongoing.
