CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Detectives have identified a suspect in the stabbing of a woman at an apartment complex on May 29, and they are seeking help locating her.

At approximately 2:21 a.m. Thursday, Clarksville Police received a 911 call from a woman reporting she had been stabbed, according to previous reports. Officers found the woman in the roadway near 2296 McCormick Lane, off 101st Airborne Division Parkway. Evidence indicated the stabbing was inside one of the apartments. Officers entered the apartment and found it was unoccupied.

Through the investigation, detectives have identified 24-year-old Jada Turner as the suspect, and a warrant for aggravated assault has been issued, according to CPD spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was in stable condition on Friday.

CPD is asking for the public’s assistance locating  Turner. If you have any information regarding her whereabouts, please call 911 immediately.
