CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Police have identified the pedestrian killed Friday night on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
At about 7:15 p.m., Larry Bland, 58, of Clarksville was walking north in the continuous left turn lane near Charlemagne Boulevard, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Officer Scott Beaubien.

It appears he tried to cross the highway and was hit by a passing truck. He died at the scene.
“This is still an ongoing investigation, but it does not appear that there will be any charges related to this crash,” Beaubien said.
