CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A 16-year-old boy fatally shot a 16-year-old girl and then shot himself Thursday morning on Timberline Way, according to police. The shooter is in stable condition at a Nashville hospital.
At about 8:57 a.m., police were called to a shooting in progress at 1942 Timberline Way, according to Officer Scott Beaubien. When officers arrived, they immediately made entry and found two gunshot victims.
The first victim, a 16-year-old girl named Bra’Anna Harbison, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, a 16-year-old male, was flown to Nashville by LifeFlight helicopter and was in in stable condition Friday afternoon.
Detectives have determined that the juvenile male shot the girl and himself, and homicide charges are pending. His name has not been released.
