CLARKSVILLE, TN – Planters Bank recently announced the promotion of three employees as well as the announcement of a new trust officer.

Karen Hayes has been promoted to Banking Officer/Public Relations Director. Karen began her career with Planters Bank in 2019 as a Commercial/Ag Admin Document Assistant. She moved into the Trust Admin Assistant position in 2020 and was then promoted to Public Relations Director in 2021. Karen attended Hopkinsville Community College and Centre College. She is a past president of Hopkinsville Junior Auxiliary, served on the Pennyroyal Arts Council Board, and has volunteered for many civic organizations through her career. She was also a volunteer competitive cheer coach for 10 years. Karen’s past work experience includes owning and operating a small business for 15 years and Sales/Marketing specialist for Southern Exposure Photography for 20 years. She currently serves as a Christian County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador as well as a City of Hopkinsville Diplomat.

Ryleigh Oldham has been promoted to Banking Officer/Human Resources Assistant. Ryleigh graduated from Campbellsville University in 2022 with her master’s in business Admin: Emphasis in HR. Ryleigh was also on the Campbell University Softball team for 5 years She began her career with Planters in October of 2022, and is a current member of both the local and national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) groups. Ryleigh has also recently become a member of the Junior Auxiliary of Hopkinsville Kentucky.

Danny Patton has joined Planters Bank as Vice President and Trust Officer.  He graduated from Murray State University with a BA in Business Administration, and he is also a graduate of the ABA National Trust Graduate School and Cannon Trust School. As part of his experience, Danny has participated in sales and service training through Robert Franke and Associates and Cohen Brown.  While employed with First Charter Wealth Management, Danny was the recipient of sales and service awards.  Danny comes to us with over 45 years of banking experience, First Bank and Trust Company in Princeton, Bank One in West Virginia, First Charter National Bank in North Carolina and most recently with Farmers Bank and Trust Company in Princeton.

Patrick Wilkinson, AVP Commercial Banking, has been promoted to VP Commercial Banking. Patrick began his career with Planters Bank in September 2021 after public accounting positions with KPMG and Paladin Capital. Patrick received a BA in Accounting from UT Knoxville and a Master of Accountancy from Samford University. Patrick worked for KPMG in their Audit practice serving the Atlanta market for six years prior to joining Planters Bank.
