CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Movies in the Park, Clarksville Parks and Recreations free outdoor movie series, returned to Liberty Park on Saturday, August 17, for what proved to be a very enjoyable evening.
Patrons of the event were treated to a free showing of “Ready Player One” with vendors on-site providing food and drinks, as well as activities for children and their families prior to the movie. Attendees enjoyed a video game trailer as well as a virtual reality experience from Austin Peay’s GIS Center.
The Parks & Recreation Department will host two more showings in the coming weeks, including “Mary Poppins Returns” and “The Karate Kid”, at Liberty Park on September 21st and October 12th, respectfully.
