CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Parks & Recreation delighted audiences with “Aquaman” Saturday at Movies in the Park. Heritage Park was full of activity with families enjoying not only the movie, but pre-event activities.

Despite some thunder and lightning prior to the event, the weather cleared up just in time for regular activities to continue as scheduled.

APSU College of STEM and Waterdogs Scuba Diving provided unique activities for kids, and willing parents, including the Scuba Diving Pool and a special hands on experience with corn starch. After sunset, visitors were treated to a free showing of “Aquaman” on the big screen.

Movies in the Park will continue through October 12, with the following schedule:

  • July 13 – Heritage Park – Black Panther
  • July 27 – Liberty Park –  The Grinch 
  • August 17 – Liberty Park – Ready Player One
  • September 21 – Liberty Park – Mary Poppins Returns
  • October 12 – Liberty Park – The Karate Kid
