FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) After a nine-month deployment to Europe, 89 soldiers with the 227th Composite Supply Company CSC, 129th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 101st Sustainment Brigade of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) returned home to Fort Campbell Wednesday morning. The soldiers supported Operation Atlantic Resolve which took place throughout Europe.

The 227th CSC assisted the operation’s enhanced multinational training and security cooperation activities with petroleum distribution, water purification production and distribution, fuel storage along with laundry and shower support for more than 6,000 soldiers from two U.S. Army Brigades and armed forces from three European allied nations.

“The were supporting Atlantic Resolve, they were in Poland, but they were also spread out in Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Lithuania. They convoyed all over Europe and obviously were proud of our Screaming Eagles that did a job well done,” Commander of the 101st Sustainment Brigade, Colonel Stanley Sliwinski said.

Another group of soldiers from the 101st Sustainment Brigade is set to return from deployment to Europe in the near future.
