CLARKSVILLE, TN – Paint the Town Purple lit up Clarksville from June 4 through June 10 as local businesses, artists and community members came together to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s disease and all other dementia. Storefronts across the city were transformed into vibrant purple displays, turning downtown into a citywide showcase of creativity and support for a cause that touches so many families.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, whether you decorated a storefront, picked up a paintbrush, spread the word to a neighbor, or simply stopped to admire the artwork around town. It is this kind of community spirit that continues to move us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

We are also excited to recognize this year’s Purple Reign Award winners, chosen for going above and beyond in bringing the Paint the Town Purple spirit to life:

Business: The Vintage Warehouse
Healthcare Facility: Signature HealthCare of Clarksville
House/Personal: The Bob Rots House

Up next, our Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place on Oct. 24 at Fortera Field at APSU. To make a donation or register a team for the walk, visit alz.org/clarksvillewalk.
