CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Homicide Detectives with the Clarksville Police Department (CPD) Special Operations Unit are asking for the public’s assistance regarding the 727 Ranch Hill homicide that occurred July 21 around 3:13 a.m.
During a home invasion robbery, three suspects, described by the victims as young black males in their late teens to early twenties, wearing hooded type sweatshirts and bandanas, one with dreads in his hair, entered the residence and held the occupants of the residence at gun point.
The suspects demanded drugs and money, then began going through wallets, taking money, and gathering electronic items. One of the subjects was armed with a 9mm handgun, and another with a tire iron.
One of the suspects referred to another as “Dee”. Several of the victims freed themselves and a struggle began between some of the victims and one of the suspects, resulting in blunt force injuries to the suspect’s head, face and back. The suspect called for help and the other two suspects entered the room, one of whom shot and killed Miles Hendrick.
The investigation has shown that this is not a random crime, and that an unidentified female led the suspects to this specific residence.
CPD is asking the public for any information they may have about this crime.
