CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. The Old Firehouse Day Shelter celebrated their ten year anniversary on Wednesday, November 26. The Old Firehouse is part of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Community Action Agency (CMCCAA) and is a full service day shelter for homeless individuals and families.
Dozens of people turned out to enjoy a free fall harvest lunch provided by one of the many supporters of the Old Firehouse, Christ the Healer Church. Local officials including Montgomery County Chief of Staff Jeff Truitt as well as many community supporters and volunteers were on hand for the celebration.
Both Leslie Chiodini, Executive Director of CMCCAA and Program Director Robert Davis thanked the community for their support over the years to make the Old Firehouse more than just a shelter for the homeless but also a resource center for those in need.
