CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Wind Advisory has been issued for the Clarksville area beginning Tuesday at noon and ending Wednesday at 9 a.m.
Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph can be expected Tuesday afternoon through the mid-morning hours on Wednesday.
Gusty winds can cause tree and branch damage and loose outdoor objects may be blown around. High profile vehicles, especially those traveling on east-west roadways, may experience travel difficulties.
Temperatures on Tuesday will be much warmer with a high of 52 degrees and an overnight low of 47 degrees with a strong chance of showers.
On Wednesday, temperatures will hover around 47 degrees before dropping down into the 20s with rain that may turn over to snow later that night.
