CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW)- The most recent member of the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce has been added. The nutrition supplement store, Nutrition Faktory, hosted their ribbon cutting ceremony on June 6. Owner Kerry Maggart and employee Amanda Buckley were on-site sharing everything that Nutrition Faktory has to offer the Montgomery County community.
Many national chains, and some of the more well-known nutrition and vitamin stores have house brands which are largely pushed by the associates. At Nutrition Faktory, there are no house brands, and also unlike many other supplement stores, the employees aren’t driven by commission, so any product being sold is something they believe is truly best for the customer’s benefit.
The Clarksville Nutrition Faktory is one of 13 locations. They have locations in Murfreesboro, Cookeville, Franklin, and many others in the Nashville area. “In the Hendersonville location, we had a [very muscular client] looking at muscle building stuff, and he was back-to-back with an 80-year-old woman, and they were both comfortable.” Maggart said, “We want everybody to feel welcome here. We’re here to help, not here to sell.” Nutrition Faktory insists they are for everyone, no matter the body type or demographic.
In the vitamin and supplement industry, a common theme is how expensive it can be to get healthy. This is also something Nutrition Faktory prides itself in. As one employee, Daniel Yarbrough, highlighted, “Our mission is to give people an opportunity to get supplements and get healthy for a low price. We believe that fitness should be available to everyone.”
