CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) The Northeast High football program is the subject of an investigation for a potential ineligible player.

According to the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, the school self-reported itself to the TSSAA for the “inadvertent playing of an ineligible player.” The player was not named.

The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association administers public school athletic programs.

No. 4 ranked Northeast, is undefeated and would have to forfeit its five wins if it loses a hardship appeal.
