CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – Northeast fell to Southwind 35-28 in the first round of the playoffs.

The Eagles’ season is over and Southwind moves on in the playoffs.

The Eagles were missing a couple of key players. The team came together and some players stepped up in their absence.

Heath Williams had a big game throwing 4 touchdowns. Chris Taylor had 2 touchdowns. Devon Dillehay caught a 65-yard touchdown pass and played well on both sides of the ball. Tamario Vereen also had a touchdown.

Northeast went into halftime with a 28-13 lead. The second half was all Southwind. They came back and scored in the last minute to win 35-28.
