Post-fight
Landwehr left San Antonio with some choice words. When asked if submission was part of the gameplan, Landwehr responded by saying, “No man, I was watching and that’s the different between JV and varsity, and I’m varsity in the UFC.
“I have a highlight reel like Evel Knievel, I have swagger like Elvis Presley, and I’ll be damned if I’m not handsome. Let’s re-run that Caceres fight, and San Antonio take a look at this bicep (as Landwehr flexes). Nate ‘The Train’ in the UFC!”
Following the UFC Fight Night, President of the Ultimate Fighting Competition Dana White credited Landwehr as a “savage.”
