CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Nashville State Community College (NSCC) is offering a virtual paralegal infosession on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. for those interested in pursuing a new career.
The session is free and open to those interested in learning more about NSCC’s paralegal program. Nashville Sate offers a technical certificate in paralegal studies as well as an associate of applied science (AAS) degree in paralegal studies.
The infosession will be hosted by Dr. Christie Ferguson, Director of Paralegal Studies at Nashville State Community College.
Sam Knolton, local lawyer and adjunct professor, will also be in attendance to answer questions and give advice about the paralegal field.
Nashville State’s paralegal program is approved by the American Bar Association, Standing Committee on Paralegals. Students in the program receive instruction in legal research, legal writing, ethics and professionalism, civil litigation, criminal law, family law, torts, property law and other legal specialty courses.
