CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A motorcyclist was critically injured when he crashed into a CEMC work truck Saturday night on Highway 48.
At about 9:20 p.m., a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Cumberland Electric Membership Corp. truck, was going south on Highway 48 and tried to turn left onto Salem Road, according to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report.
The truck apparently crossed in front of a 2023 Harley-Davidson, and the motorcycle crashed into the right side of the truck. Charges are pending against the 47-year-old driver of the truck, the report said. He was not injured.
The motorcyclist, 23, was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, according to Clarksville Now news partner Dash 10 Media.

Correction: The motorcycle crashed into the right side of the truck, and the motorcyclist was 23.
