CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Montgomery County honored its employees at its annual Service Awards Ceremony Thursday, August 15. 154 county employees were treated to lunch and received service certificates and pins depending upon how long they had been employed by Montgomery County.

Montgomery County Mayor Carolyn Bowers was unable to attend the ceremony but Director of Administration Phil Harpel was on hand to help pass out the awards along with members of the county’s Human Resource Department. Employees also received gifts for their years of dedicated service.

Harpel had this to say about the awards ceremony. “We were tickled to be able to honor 154 Montgomery County employees that had anywhere from 5, 10, 15, 20 up to 40 years of service with the county. It was something that Mayor Bowers has continued since she took office,” Harpel said.
