CLARKSVILLE, TN – Both the Montgomery Central boys’ and girls’ programs remain undefeated after taking down rival opponents Tuesday night. The boys’ team defeated district rival Cheatham County 41-29 and also had a team win over Northwest 61-17. The girls took down regional opponent Northwest 42-27 and beat Cheatham County 59-0. That brings the boys’ team record to 4-0 and the girls to 5-0 on the season.

A handful of boys were undefeated on the night as Wesley Sudderth (113), Blake Mills (120), Jack Levendusky (126), Tamarion Johnson (150), Josh Hodges (175), and Cayson Rasch (190) all went 2-0 on the evening.

Levendusky, a returning state medalist, came back in the last 12 seconds to get a win over a fellow state qualifier 8-5. Senior captain “T” Johnson dominated opponents with a pin and a technical fall, and junior captain Cayson Rasch crushed his opponents with two pins on the night.

Winning for Northwest boys were 106-pound Chance Myers by forfeit, 132-pound Aiden Hansel, and 138-pound Kaleb Dittman won a wild one 30-15 over state qualifier Jackson Key.

The girls team also had a victory over Northwest 42-27. Winning for Central against the Vikings were Luvanna Buffa (120), Angie Hernandez (126), Amber Koch (132), Ra’Shya Fleming (138), Rosalie Alvarez (145), Amaria Moore (152), and Charlee Wahl (235). Star senior Audrey Levendusky, who had the night off, is 5-0 on the season.

Winning for Northwest girls were 100-pound Addyson Morris by forfeit, 107-pound Haylee Warren by forfeit, 114-pound Isabella Salazar by fall, 165-pound Sunshine Ellis 7-0 over Montgomery Central team captain Eva Crysel, and at 185 Ja’lissia Muldrow won by fall.
