CLARKSVILLE, TN − The Montgomery Central High School boys wrestling team took first Saturday at the Bruise Brothers Brawl in Springfield, coming home with 8 total medalists, 6 finalists, and 2 champs.
The Indians scored 171 team points, awarded based on individual placement and match results, while 2nd place Alcoa was close behind with 167 points, and 3rd place Greenbrier finished with 123.5 points.
Central senior Craig Sudderth (144) and junior Tamarion Johnson (157) both won titles at the 14-team event. They also had four teammates reach the finals, as freshman Jack Levendusky took 2nd at 106, senior Wilson Troyani took 2nd at 113, senior Jeremy Mills took 2nd at 150, and sophomore Cayson Rasch took 2nd at 165.
Mills also recorded his 100th career high school win on Saturday.
